RABBIT HOLE PROGRAM
The Yellow Door has been bringing people together over healthy and affordable food for over 60 years. The Rabbit Hole includes a weekly lunch served from our kitchen and a monthly market for seniors run by Innovation Assistance.
FRIDAY LUNCH
Volunteers prepare, cook and serve a delicious vegan lunch once per week during the academic year. The meal costs around $4. Bring your own container – lunch can be taken to go or enjoyed in our cozy basement space.
Check our calendar or follow us on social media for up-to-date information on opening hours & weekly menus.

Générations à table !
This special project aims to encourage more participation in the Rabbit Hole community lunch by our senior members—addressing both food security and social inclusion. Generations members and volunteers are encouraged come to the Rabbit Hole with their match, or to take meals to go to share as part of a friendly visit.
This project is run under Recipes for the Future: Empowered Aging, funded by the Government of Canada, in collaboration with New Hope Senior Citizens Centre and key community partners, including Concordia University.

DUROCHER MARKET
YD staff and volunteers help Innovation Assistance run a market for seniors living in and around Habitations Durocher. The market offers fresh produce, prepared meals, and non-perishables at a reduced cost, allowing autonomy over food choices. For around $5, seniors can leave with a full bag of groceries.
See our calendar for date/time & location.
